Absolutely love that you are drinking a Budweiser and your take on Bud light – hilarious! Also, couldn't agree more about affiliate programs!

KetoinCanada says:

I agree that affiliate programs are very rarely profitable for me. I just can’t invest my time and energy on that type of content for very little return.

Thank you for bringing the lack of influencer diversity back up. It’s such an important topic that I emailed James about it last year. I’m happy that your company is doing the work to educate your clients, but disagree that it’s the job of people of color to convince any system/institution/corporation of our worthiness, especially when racial bias is at the core of this marginalization. Evaluate any social movement and you’ll find people with privilege on the front line using their whiteness (in this case) to leverage change. If I as a Black woman can’t even get in the door, how could I be expected to have a seat at the table to advocate for “how exciting it is” to work with my community? Your point would be much better directed to the white, blonde, skinny influencers and the companies that hire them. As a slight aside, anybody who isn’t hiring Asiyami Gold is a complete and utter fool. Just needed to get that off my chest. Overall, I’m grateful for this platform and for the ability to have this conversation.
