How I QUIT MY 9-5 JOB to start my own business! #storytime

Hey guys,
I’m often asked how I started the Hourglass Workout. I used to work for the government, a great 9-5 job with benefits. I was a supervisor with lots of perks and no actual reason to leave except the yearning of the ‘what if I don’t try’ thoughts in my head… not wanting to ‘live for my pension’, I bit the bullet and quit (and threw up)… lol… here is the story of how I started the now Internationally franchised Hourglass Workout Program.
I’m doing this as a 3 part series… to follow will be the biggest business mistake that I made and how I turned my business into a franchise…
I hope this helps some of you budding entrepreneurs out there wanting to give running your own business a try… this is the start of my story…. much love guys… xoxoxo

You can follow the rest of my journey on snapchat: lyzabethlopez
and here on youtube where I post my vlogs that show my business as it grows and changes. #storytime

There are many components to running a woodworking business. One plan I found that succeeds in merging these is the Enata wood system (google it if you're interested) definately the most incredible resource that I have ever seen. look at the awesome info.

I actually think working for anyone is a invaluable experience, for a woman, until you have settled down with someone, which is at a point where you becomes emotionally mature enough to assess whether that person is the partner of your life. You would re-think your life and include those important people in it. I agree on quitting a boring job, but disagree quitting the job when you weigh in the benefits it brings to the family and children (if you plan on having one), I think it's important for women to realise that once we are at a certain age, getting married, becoming pregnant and sending your child to school for the first time all becomes life changing moments and sometimes working in any type of jobs will justify the primary goal of ensuring they are happy and safe. At the end of the day, the power of love will win our hearts.

The courage it must have taken to make those decisions, push through the hard times, and be smart enough to learn from the hard lessons…very inspiring and motivating. Thank you for sharing your story and giving hope.

I had the opportunity to take one of your classes at the metro convention center, it was so much fun and so engaging. I could really tell how much you love what you do and how much you care about the people you teach. Usually classes are a bit intimidating for me, but I felt really comfortable and completely free. You are truly inspirational, down to earth and humble. I'll never forget all the "you got it mama!" And you smakin' everyone's bum lol, and making us all feel welcomed. You are great!
